General Information
ARTWORK:
For best results, submit vector line artwork or
camera ready copy. Copy prepared by us will be
limited to type faces of our choosing. If logos are
required, please supply clean black and white copy.
Small reversed, screened or fine line copy is not
recommended and factory will not be responsible for
quality of imprint. We reserve the right to resize
artwork unless otherwise explicitly noted on the
purchase order. Templates for all Guillow gliders are
available on our
downloads page. Prices will be quoted if special
artwork is required. Any cost over and above the
published price is a service charge only and does
not transfer title to customer.
ELECTRONIC ARTWORK:
Factory can receive electronic artwork via
e-mail or disk. We use CorelDraw 12.0 and Adobe
Illustrator 12.0 on MS Windows based computers.
Recommend file types: .eps, .cdr, .ai or .tif (at
least 300dpi). Please convert typefaces to curves or
outlines before sending artwork. E-mail artwork to:

IMPRINT COLOR:
Standard colors are printed on each glider
page.
LESS THAN MINIMUM:
Not available.
CUSTOM DESIGNS / SHAPES:
Not available in balsa. Foam - contact factory
for quote.
CO-OP PROGRAMS / FULFILLMENT PROGRAMS:
Contact factory for quote. Honored only when
quoted in advance in writing and terms quoted are
met.

It is Guillow’s guarantee to the distributor
that once an order is approved by us for processing
with a specified ship date, Guillow's will ship the
merchandise on time to meet the event date. If we
miss the approved ship date, you pay nothing.
This guarantee does not apply to delays caused by
distributor, natural business interruptions, acts of
God or transportation companies. |

SHIPPING INFORMATION:
F.O.B. factory dock in Massachusetts. Shipping
charges will be added to the invoice. Requests to
ship U.S. Mail or to a P.O. Box will incur a $10.00
service charge plus postage and insurance and will
be billed on invoice, factory will not be
responsible for lost or damaged products shipped by
the U.S. Mail. Split shipment charge is $5.00 per
carton. C.O.D. shipments not available. We can not
assume responsibility for time delays in transit.
Our responsibility ceases when merchandise is
delivered to the carrier. All claims must be made
directly to the carrier.

CANCELLATION CHARGES:
All orders once acknowledged by the factory can
not be canceled. All items are custom produced and
imprinted by the factory and charges up to the total
amount of the order can apply to any canceled order.
RETURNS:
Factory authorization must be obtained prior to
return of merchandise for any reason or Receiving
Department will not accept shipment. Please examine
shipment promptly upon delivery. Merchandise cannot
be returned for any reason after 30 days from
factory shipment date.
TRADEMARK USAGE:
All copy and logos submitted by the customer for
use by factory in producing the items ordered will
be accepted by the factory as being submitted in
full compliance with all applicable laws regarding
trademark, service mark, copyright, right of
privacy, patent, contractual limitations or similar
protection. Copy and trademarks illustrated in this
website are used to demonstrate product imprinting.
This does not constitute endorsement by any company
or organization of our product line.
TERMS and CONDITIONS:
Net 30 days. Subject to credit approval. Invoices not paid when due will be
subject to interest charge of 1˝% per month. Factory
accepts Master Card and Visa on a limited basis. Charge
card will be charged when order is accepted by
factory. All orders are subject to the terms and
conditions as set forth on this page and are subject
to be governed by the laws of the State of
Massachusetts and any legal action required shall
take within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Balsa Information
ARTWORK:
Factory can receive electronic artwork via
e-mail or disk (MS Windows™ compatible). For best
results, submit vector line art or black & white
camera ready copy (at least 300 dpi resolution on
paper). Small reversed, screened, fine line copy or
close registration can not be printed satisfactorily
on balsa wood and is not recommended, factory will
not be responsible for quality of imprint. Copy
prepared by us will be created with a typeface of
our choosing, if a specific type is to be used it
should be noted on the order. We will inform you if
the typeface is not available. Templates for all our
gliders are available on our
downloads page. Prices will be quoted
if special artwork is required. E-mail artwork to

PLATE CHARGE:
Per color (one time). Plates will be disposed of
approx. 18 months after last order. Any reorder
after that will incur a new plate charge.
COLOR PRICES:
Balsa gliders are printed with a standard color
at no charge. Standard colors are interchangeable
for an additional $7.50(Z) per order. For PMS® color
match, $65.00(Z). Exact color match is not
guaranteed. Metallic inks can not be printed
satisfactorily on balsa wood and is not recommended,
factory will not be responsible for quality of
imprint.
SECOND COLOR CHARGES:
2nd color plate required. Set-up charge for 2nd
color - $20.00(Z). Running charge $11.00(Z) per
1000.
PILOT FIGURE AND TAIL SURFACE:
Tail surfaces and pilot figure on No. 26-1, 30-1
and 50-1 are preprinted and remain in standard
colors. For color change add $20.00(Z) set-up charge
and $11.00(Z) per thousand run charge. No imprint on
tail, add $20.00(Z) set-up charge.
WING IMPRINT AREA:
No copy allowed in center of wing area. All
glider wings will have a printed thin border line
around the outside perimeter as illustrated in the
photos of products. This line is necessary for
registration purposes. Templates for all our gliders
are available on our
downloads
page. No bleed off wing is allowed.
OVERRUNS / UNDERRUNS:
All orders subject to 5% overrun or underrun.
PROOFS & ORDER CONFIRMATION:
Proofs are sent via fax at no charge approx. 3
days from receipt of order. Proofs can be
e-mailed if provided with an e-mail address
and preferred file type (.pdf, .eps or .jpg). Proofs
must be signed and returned before plates are made.
Delayed proofs will necessitate a new ship date.
PRE PRODUCTION SAMPLE:
One color actual production sample available -
$110.00(Z). Price includes plate. Up to 10 working days for production.
PMS® color match charges apply.

Foam Information
ARTWORK:
Factory can receive electronic artwork via
e-mail or disk (MS Windows™ compatible). For best

(at least 400 dpi resolution at size of output).
Small reversed, screened copy cannot be printed
satisfactorily on foam plastic and is not
recommended, factory will not be responsible for
quality of imprint. Copy prepared by us will be
created with a typeface of our choosing, if a
specific type is to be used it should be noted on
the order. We will inform you if the typeface is not
available. If logos are required, please supply
digital file or clean black and white copy.
Templates for all our gliders are available on our
downloads page. Prices
will be quoted if special artwork is required.

CUSTOM DESIGNS / SHAPES:

NOSE WEIGHTS:

Foam glider will not fly without nose weight.
SCREEN & SET UP CHARGES:
FREE set-up and one color screen,
printed two sides. Films will be disposed of after
two years without re-order.
COLOR COST AND INFORMATION:
1st color cost FREE except where
coverage exceeds 25%, contact factory for pricing.
2nd color and each additional color - $.24(A) each
color per glider.
COLOR MATCH:
Logo, company or PMS® colors are matched as
close as possible. Exact color match is not
guaranteed. For metallic or special inks, contact
factory for pricing.
PROOFS & ORDER CONFIRMATION:
Confirmation/Color proofs will be
supplied via e-mail or mail on all orders at no
charge approx. 3 days from receipt of order and must be signed and returned before
screens are made. Color proofs can be e-mailed to
you to save time if provided with your e-mail
address and preferred file type (.pdf, .eps or
.jpg). Delayed signed proofs will necessitate a new
ship date. Actual pre-production samples not
available for foam gliders.
